An online store on WooCommerce or Shopify

WooCommerce for up to 30 products at PLN 8,500 net: payments, a courier with a pickup-point map, terms and GDPR, GA4. Shopify with a theme written from scratch, quoted after a short brief.

A store on Shopify

A theme written from scratch in Liquid, OS 2.0 sections, payments and couriers for Poland, BaseLinker for stock and orders. Quoted after a short brief.

Moving a store to Shopify

From WooCommerce, Shoper or PrestaShop: products, customers and orders, with 301 redirects included. PLN 3,900 net for up to 500 products, 10 to 14 working days.

What a store gets

Four groups, and the first is the decision the other three follow from.

The platform

  • Shopify with the theme written from scratch in Liquid
  • WooCommerce where the site and the store are one thing
  • OS 2.0 sections the team rearranges on its own
  • The choice made from your catalogue and your operation

Catalogue and stock

  • One source of truth for product data
  • BaseLinker for stock, prices and orders
  • Variants, collections and product descriptions
  • Orders passed on to the warehouse and to accounting

Payments and delivery

  • Payment gateways, Polish and international
  • Courier integrations and shipping labels
  • Delivery methods, rules and free-delivery thresholds
  • Tax settings and transactional emails configured for your shop

Migration

  • Products, customers and orders moved across
  • Old addresses redirected so the rankings survive
  • Structure rebuilt for the new platform
  • Domain, DNS, certificate and company mail

How the work runs

Four steps, and the first two happen before anything appears on a screen.

The catalogue first

How many products, how many variants, where that data lives today and who edits it. Everything the customer later sees is built on those answers.

Platform and integrations

Shopify or WooCommerce, and the list of systems the store has to talk to: warehouse, accounting, couriers, payments. Written down and agreed before any design starts.

Theme and build

I write the theme from scratch. Before launch you click through the store at a test address, with real products in it.

Launch and handover

Live on your domain, with the payment path tested end to end, the redirects in place and the admin handed to your team.

The date, the price and the refusal

How long it takes

A Shopify store from scratch, with a theme designed for that store, a catalogue of around thirty products, one payment gateway and one courier, takes two to four days including revisions, and I quote the price after a short brief. Moving a shop of up to 500 products to Shopify is a separate job with a published price of PLN 3,900 net and 10 to 14 working days. A larger migration, or a shop with a thousand products, an ERP integration or B2B pricing, is quoted and dated after the brief. The WooCommerce package priced below is a different build again. Past that scope, the product data sets the date. Descriptions, prices, variants, weights and photographs are two weeks of work for somebody at a catalogue of almost any size, and that somebody sits in your company. Until that spreadsheet exists there is nothing to upload, so the date depends on your calendar more than on mine. I confirm it once the spreadsheet is ready.

When a store is not worth building

If you sell twenty products and the whole operation fits in the head of one person, a ready-made platform on a subscription is the right answer, and I will tell you so. The second case is quieter. Orders are not arriving, the shop gets the blame, and the real problem is the catalogue or the photographs. Then the product pages need work first, and that costs far less than a new store.

What it costs

A WooCommerce shop in a closed scope of up to 30 products costs PLN 8,500 net. Moving a shop of up to 500 products to Shopify costs PLN 3,900 net. What each price includes and what it leaves out has its own article on the blog.

Selected work

Four projects that run every day. Each write-up shows what was built and how it works.

Got an idea?
Let’s build it.
