Preschool websites to WCAG

A preschool website that meets WCAG 2.1, with an accessibility statement, from PLN 2,400 net

I test every page, fix the errors on a test copy and hand the site back with a report and an accessibility statement. You keep editing content in the same panel.

Ask about your institution’s website

Give the site address and say whether an inspection or audit is coming up. I will look at the site and reply with a price.

I reply by email, personally.

Included
audit before and after, fixes across the whole site, accessibility statement and a guide to adding content
Timeline
test version in 7 working days from access to the admin panel
Payment
30 percent on signing, the rest on acceptance

Latest project

A network of preschools and nurseries, a WordPress site with several dozen pages. Before the work WAVE reported 287 errors and 678 contrast errors, and no page passed. After the rebuild every page has zero errors. I also tested it with the keyboard alone and with the NVDA and Narrator screen readers.

Who needs it

Public preschools and schools in Poland must have a WCAG 2.1 website and an accessibility statement under the 2019 digital accessibility act. Private institutions with EU-funded projects face a similar requirement in the EU funds accessibility standards.

Audit and statement only

If your own IT person will make the fixes, I can prepare just the report with the list of errors and a ready accessibility statement. I quote after looking at the site.

Ask about the audit

What you get

The package covers a WordPress site of up to about 50 pages.

Audit before and after

  • Every page checked with WAVE and axe
  • Keyboard-only test and the NVDA and Narrator screen readers
  • A PDF report: what was wrong, what I fixed and what is left on your side

Fixes on the site

  • Contrast, image descriptions, headings, menus and forms
  • Work on a test copy, the live site keeps running
  • I check PDF files and videos and say what to do with them. Reworking them is quoted separately

After acceptance

  • Accessibility statement published on the site
  • A guide to adding content without breaking accessibility
  • Support after acceptance at PLN 80 net per hour, only if you need it

How the work runs

Four steps from access to acceptance.

Access

You create an administrator account for me in the site panel. The 7 working days start that day.

Audit before

I test every page and send a report, so we both see where we start.

Fixes on the copy

I fix the site on a test copy. You review it at a separate address and send comments.

Acceptance

Once you accept, I move the changes to the live site, publish the statement and send the after report.

What the price depends on

How I set the price

The price in the heading covers a WordPress site of up to about 50 pages. A larger site or another system is quoted after I look at it, before any work starts.

What I do not promise

I do not issue a compliance certificate, because no such official document exists in Poland. You get a test report that shows every page checked.

Selected work

Projects you can see running. Each write-up shows what was built and how it works.
